"The pressing and intensified style of play of Liverpool is too high for Mario Balotelli", admits manager Brender Rodgers

"Balotelli's misfiring is as a result of the fact that his tactical display does not fit into the style of play of the Reds' current tactical system", As quoted by Liverpool manager Brender Rodgers in his latest interview over the future of the Italian.

 The 24 year-old has only two goals in all competitions since joing Liverpool from AC Milan at the start of the season for the sum of  16 miilion pounds. The latest manager's position about the forward has thrown the Italian's future in the balance.
 He has been faced with controversies since joining Liverpool, and his latest uproar was a one match ban by the Football Association over a social media post which was regarded as offensive.

 Rodgers has said that his 3-4-3 formation is not really his game, and that has been proven over time. He is a  player who performs better in and around the box. the level of pressing and intensity of the game is not part of Mario's game. But it is relavant to get  the best out of the players in your possession, so that is what we are going to do, he said, ahead of his side's Boxing Day game at Burnley.

 Mario is available for the trip to Turf Moor on friday to face Burnley after serving a one match ban over the weekend. "The most important thing is that he is now available after his ban. That adds another player on the squad, especially with Fabio Borini not being available because of suspension".
Rodgers' men will be hoping for their first victory in four games against Burnley who will also be hoping to cuntinue their four-match unbeaten run on home turf.
