Walcott Gets England Call Alongside Berahino and Downing

Theo Walcott is back to full fitness after 10 months out and will join the English squad when International games resume

Saido Berahino and Stewart Downing were the surprise names in England manager Roy Hodgson's squad to face Slovenia and Scotland. The 21-year-old has been in fine form for West Brom this season, with his seven-goal haul more than any English player has managed in the Premier League so far.

Berahino has been in sensational form in the EPL this season and has earned him a call to the English side.

Berahino's case has been further boosted by his impressive performances for the England Under-21s, who he has helped propel into next summer's European Championship finals in the Czech Republic.

Such form has piqued the interest of senior boss Hodgson, who also called upon the services of in-form Stewart Downing

Perhaps even more surprising, however, is the inclusion of Arsenal's TheoWalcott. The pacey winger was also included in the squad despite only having played 10 minutes of first team football since returning from a ten-month injury lay-off.
