Germany's World Cup winners and their wags were given all-star treatment for the premiere of their celebratory film on Monday.
Players, coaching staff, football emissaries and invited guests gathered at glitzy Potsdamer Platz in Berlin to see Die Mannschaft (The Team), a film that reveals some of the more intimate details from the side's tournament success.
One such detail is seeing Germany's top scorer at the tournament, Thomas Muller, dressed in a dirndl - a traditional women's dress - after losing a bet with the team's physio.

The players arrived all wearing dark suits, shirts and ties - perhaps an attempt to help the golden trophy that they proudly carried shine even more.
Before the film started, FIFA president Sepp Blatter paid tribute to Brazil for hosting 'the best World Cup in years, despite all the negative things that were said before it.'

The film itself revealed small behind-the-scene details that helped contribute to Germany's fourth World Cup win - its first as a reunified country.
There were pre-match team-talks from coach Joachim Low and captain Philipp Lahm but also moments of light relief.
As well as Muller's lost bet, there was midfielder Christoph Kramer singing Ronan Keating's song When You Say Nothing At All at an initiation ceremony and Per Mertesacker and Shkodran Mustafi 'dad dancing' after their final victory.
As Mertesacker says, the film 'showed the team was not just alive on the pitch, but off it as well.'

Germans basked in World Cup glory before the Premiere, with President Joachim Gauck, joined by Chancellor Angela Merkel, awarding the players the Silver Laurel Leaf, the country's highest sports award for what was Germany's fourth World Cup crown.
'All of us in Germany felt as if we were world champions,' Gauck told the players before they received their awards.
'We can be happy that no one is envying our title and the world is happy with us.'

'Many of us are not here for the first time,' Lahm said in his address at Bellevue Palace. 'But it is something special to have brought the trophy with us this time.'
